Big Sky Ski Resort in Montana lives up to its name with 5,800 acres of terrain beneath iconic Lone Peak. Wide-open runs, deep snow, and short lift lines make Big Sky a haven for adventure seekers who value space, serenity, and the raw beauty of the Northern Rockies.
Our favorite lift is Shedhorn because of the incredible off-piste terrain it offers. When skiing off the tram, many of the best lines naturally lead you into the Shedhorn zone, including the Bavarian Forest, which feels like our own little slice of Japan right here in Montana. Another reason Shedhorn stands out is its access to the mountain’s only on-hill dining and drinks spot, The Shedhorn Grill.
One of our favorite places to ski on a powder day is The Forbidden Forest. The terrain offers fresh lines, family-friendly trees, and the kind of progressive features kids love. Plus, it drops you right back at Swifty, making it perfect for quick laps all day long.
Ski Butlers makes your trip effortless by delivering premium ski and snowboard rentals directly to your accommodations, so you can spend more time on the slopes and enjoying your Big Sky getaway.
