10 Super Years!
On April 26, 2004 I was in my final semester of college at the University of New Hampshire and I sent an email to my dad about this idea of delivering ski and snowboard rental equipment to customers. A few hours later we talked on the phone. Minutes after that conversation Ski Butlers was formed.
10 years later I am sitting here writing a new email, not to my dad, but to you and the rest of our wonderful customers, partners, team members and friends.
Wow, time flies when you are having fun.
What started as a simple idea has remained simple; deliver legendary service to our customers and avoid the dreaded rental line at a ski shop.
Although the idea is great, the journey is what is special. The journey just keeps getting better and better. The opportunity to work with so many great partners to make a customers vacation better. The opportunity to hire team members who walk into the office at the end of the season and say thanks for a wonderful year. The opportunity to make families vacations easier and more convenient and to spend an hour with a customer who just arrived in town and is excited to be on vacation. The opportunity to make a difference in our communities and change the world (think Protect Our Winters).
As we wrap up our first 10 years today, I can not say thanks enough for your loyalty and belief in Ski Butlers.
I am incredibly excited for the next 10 years.
Grow smart, have fun and enjoy the journey! And yes, “Oh, the places we will go!”
