A New Level of On-Hill-Dining Experience Hits Snowmass

Aspen Skiing Company has raised the bar on what to expect when it comes to on-mountain dining at Snowmass Ski Resort. Joining the ranks of the Sundeck and Cloud 9 Bistro, Aspen/Snowmass is proud to introduce the all new Elk Camp Café! Construction began on this 13 million dollar venture as soon as last season’s snow had melted, and crews worked long days throughout the summer to finish the project!
Remember when eating green” meant finishing all your veggies? The new Elk Camp Café at Snowmass has changed that. Following Aspen Skiing Companies Green initiatives the construction of advanced heating systems and other green materials the project beat local energy codes by 30%! The café opened to the public on Thanksgiving Day to rave reviews by locals and visitors alike!
Located just steps off the gondola, the facility contains a full bar with seating for up to 15 people. Gather around a warm fireplace and exchange stories of your powder day, or relax and unwind on the oversize deck area outside. The view from this deck is like none other at Snowmass as it gazes up to Hanging Valley Wall”, some of Snowmass’s best expert terrain! The up-scale cafeteria style dining contains several food stations including Rotisserie Chicken, Soups, Custom made Pizza’s and Panini’s and an over sized Salad Bar.
This is going to be the place to be for families on Friday evenings throughout the season. Activities will include ice skating, snow tubing, family dinners, as well as bonfires, creating an evening to remember atop the Elk Camp Gondola!
Be sure to book your trip to Aspen/Snowmass this winter and check out the all new Elk Camp Café!
