Eight North American Ski Resorts that Offer Night Skiing
Just because the sun goes down doesn’t mean you have to hang your skis and boards up for the day. Night skiing is an enchanting experience under the lights, the stars, and the moon, and is a great opportunity to sneak in a few more runs or kickstart your ski vacation after a day of traveling. Bundle up and take in the lights at these eight North American resorts with night skiing:
Blue Mountain, Ontario, Canada
Night skiing at Blue Mountain kicks off at 3:30 p.m. each day and runs through 9:00 p.m. 30 of 43 trails are open and aglow with lights.
Brighton, Utah
Take a few turns under the stars at Brighton. Night skiing kicks off Monday-Saturday at 4:00 p.m. Guests can enjoy runs off of five lifts until 9:00 p.m. New this year, Brighton’s Milly lift is now part of their night skiing terrain. The Milly lift provides access to eight additional runs with 110 new lights keeping the trails aglow.
Keystone Resort, Colorado
Night skiing at Keystone is offered from the River Run base from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on specific weekends and holidays outlined here. It ends for the season on March 29.
Powder Mountain, Utah
A late afternoon activity, Powder Mountain offers night skiing seven days a week, from 4:00 – 9:00 p.m. from the Sundown Center. For $19, guests can enjoy eight trails and a terrain park under the lights.
Snow King Mountain, Wyoming
Grab your layers and join the locals to check out the town of Jackson from above with night skiing at Snow King. Night skiing is open Monday-Friday, 4:00 – 6:30 p.m.
Steamboat, Colorado
Keep the ski day going every Thursday-Sunday, 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. through March 23, 2025. Steamboat’s night skiing terrain includes five trails accessible from the Christie Peak Express six-person chairlift that tops out at 8,000 feet.
Sundance Mountain Resort, Utah
Take in the Alpenglow from the resort at dusk. Ski and ride the majority of Sundance’s front mountain, as well as the terrain park, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday nights from 4:30 – 9:00 p.m.
Woodward Park City, Utah
Woodward Park City’s lifts are open each day until 7:00 p.m., seven days a week. With 11 runs, four lifts, and features galore, it’s the perfect place to practice your tricks, twists, and jumps into the night.
