Grand Opening of Beaver Creek’s McCoy Park Terrain

Vail/Beaver Creek

On Monday Beaver Creek Resort officially opened up McCoy Park Terrain for the very first time. This zone has over 250 new acres of skiable terrain that are serviced by two lifts, the McCoy Park Express and the Reunion lift that connects back to the rest of the resort by dropping you off at the top of Strawberry Peak Express Lift.

This new terrain is dedicated to families and people who enjoy more beginner and intermediate types of terrain. It being a bit separate from the rest of the mountain makes this area perfect for people still trying to get the fundamentals done without being thrown in around more advanced skiers.

McCoy Park will be the resort’s newest learning area and is a separate, family-friendly zone, allowing for a more relaxed experience for families,” says Beaver Creek’s website.

In total this new zone had 17 trails of natural glades while also maintaining 20+ km of gladed cross country and snowshoe trails.
