Make A Difference Day
National Make A Difference Day is today. First established in 1992 this is a day where we highlight “doing good” within our local communities. It’s a day where we celebrate the idea of volunteering as a positive and uplifting action that can have a valuable impact on our local communities.
It’s seen as one of the largest days globally for volunteering for community service and usually pulls in around 30 million volunteer hours worldwide.
We know the importance of community because giving back to our local communities has been one of our company pillars since our very beginning. From the top down we’ve always strived to make an impact and to be a part of all the ski towns we have locations in.
At our first location in Park City we work annually with Live PC Give PC an organization that for 11 years has brought together folks from Park City and Summit County to raise millions of dollars for local nonprofits.
This year is no different as our team has been handing out posters to local businesses within our area trying to gain awareness for the event, which takes place on November 5th. On that day you can find our team members posted up all around Park City and Summit County raising money towards these organizations that have helped make Park City the amazing place it is today.
