Ski Butlers Steamboat 2016⁄17 Team: Built on a Culture of Customer Service
Winter has arrived in Steamboat and our Gondola & Heavenly Daze lifts are now spinning! Mother Nature brought in over a foot of new snow this week and we couldn’t be more excited to strap on our skis and snowboards for another winter season in Steamboat.
This will be Ski Butlers Steamboat’s 7th year of operations and we’re excited to have over 75% of our team back from last year. Our dedicated team not only loves the industry they’re so proudly a part of, but our team truly loves delivering the legendary service that Ski Butlers Steamboat has become so notorious for.
The energy behind “Teamboat”, as they’ve become known as, is what has allowed Ski Butlers Steamboat to claim the Johnny Rust Award 5 out of the last 6 seasons. The Johnny Rust award is an internal award for the Ski Butler location that has the highest customer service score (Net Promoter Score) at the end of each season and Ski Butlers Steamboat has finished strong every year. We get asked about how we’re able to keep such a high standard going year after year, especially with practically a new team every season (not this season!). The answer is pretty simple: culture. Between the owners, myself and my husband Glen Traylor, and our extremely valuable assistant GM, Jake Clune who has been with us for 4 years, we’ve created a culture of customer service. We hire only the best and every year, our team rallies together to make sure every customers experience is the best it can possibly be.
Our level of service is something we are extremely proud of and as we continue to grow, we will never lose sight of. We not only want to have happy customers that use us every winter, but we want to be a part of the oh-so-special Steamboat experience. We want everyone to leave our humble little ski town saying, “Wow, we need to come back here some day”. Our culture of customer service here at Ski Butlers fits perfectly into that of Steamboat Springs and we couldn’t be more proud to have our little ski shop as a part of the Steamboat mountain community.
