Snowbasin and Sun Valley Switch to Ikon

Snowbasin announced earlier this month that they, along with Sun Valley, will be switching to the Ikon Pass and Mountain Collective Pass for the 2022 – 2023 season. This change means that neither resort will be a part of the Epic Pass, owned by Vail Resorts, which both resorts initially joined in 2019.

Holders of the Ikon Pass will have seven days at both resorts, while the Ikon Pass Base Plus holders will have five days. The Ikon Pass also allows limited access to several other Utah resorts including Deer Valley, Alta, Snowbird, and Brighton.

Along with adding Snowbasin and Sun Valley to the list of Ikon resorts, the company has also struck a deal with France’s Chamonix Mont-Blanc Valley. Ikon Base and Base Plus holders will get five days while Ikon Pass holders will get seven.

Ikon Passes for the 2022 – 2023 season are on sale now. Make sure you grab yours as early as possible for the best deal and start preparing your next ski vacation trip today.
