4 Reasons to Book Your Ski Trip Early This Year
Summer is upon us, and it’s no surprise that this summer is going to be one of the busiest. Summer attractions are already attracting hundreds of visitors who are looking to experience the outdoors after being stuck inside because of COVID-19 for a year and the 2021 – 2022 winter season will be no different. With resorts lifting their restrictions on reservations and capacity limits, don’t be surprised if this upcoming season is one of the busiest yet. With that being said the best thing you can do is start planning that ski vacation as soon as possible to get ahead of the crowd. Here’s a few reasons why you should be booking your ski vacation as early as possible this year.
1. Housing Reservations
This is already being seen this summer with everything from hotels to campsites to outdoor adventure trips being booked out through the end of August but figuring out your housing will be crucial this upcoming season. If you’re looking for the best property possible, whether it be a ski-in ski-out house or a hotel right on the slopes, making that reservation as soon as possible will ensure that you’ll be right where you want to once you get off the slopes.
2. Cheap Flights
Most experienced travels are familiar with getting those plane tickets early, but if you’re not, it’s time you jump on that boat. The sooner we get to major traveling times, like Christmas, the higher those plane tickets are going to cost. Figuring out when you’ll be coming out and securing those tickets will make sure all you’re having to worry about is the snow.
3. Cheap Lift Tickets
The closer we get to the ski season, the higher lift tickets are going to get as well. Whether you’re still debating on getting either the Ikon or Epic Pass, or you’re just trying to get a few day tickets. Getting those as early as you can will make sure you’re not scrambling to buy them the day you’re trying to hit the slopes. Epic and Ikon passes are currently at their cheapest prices and if you’re skiing more than a few days this winter, getting one of those is the best bang for your buck.
4. Ski Rental Reservations are Going Fast
Last year at Ski Butlers was crazy for everyone, even with everything going on we were still booking out almost entirely for skis during the busiest parts of the winter. There’s nothing worse than forgetting to book your ski rentals and ending up having to go to a ski rental shop and miss out on the convenience and flexibility that can make your ski vacation the best one yet. Making sure to get that reservation in as soon as you know when you are coming out to any of our locations won’t just save you time, but will also allow you to worry about nothing else but the slopes.
