While Park City is known for its two award-winning ski resorts, Deer Valley Resort and Park City Mountain, there is plenty going on off the slopes, especially during the holidays. And take it from us, the Park City community knows how to celebrate! 

Whether you’re in the Deer Valley area, downtown Park City, or Canyons Village, there is a little something for the entire family this holiday season:

Snow Globe Stroll and Scavenger Hunt

Now through January 3 | Main Street, Park City

A newer addition to Park City’s holiday celebrations, explore seven snow globes throughout Old Town, each designed by a different local artist. Not only are the snow globes beautiful, they each contain hidden items offering a strolling Scavenger Hunt for the entire family to partake in. 

Silver Sky Nights | Fireworks and Live Music at Canyons Village

Friday, December 20 | Canyons Village

Live music begins at the Canyons Village at 2:00 p.m. Explore ice carving before the fireworks light up the sky at 5:45 p.m.

Santa Makes His Entrance Down the Town Lift

Saturday, December 21, 5:00 p.m. | Town Lift Plaza 

A favorite among locals, visitors, adults, and children alike, each year Santa makes his way to Town Lift Plaza via Park City Mountain’s Town Lift. Guests are invited to enjoy complimentary cookies, a photo op with Santa, and holiday songs.

Santa Claus Visits Deer Valley

Tuesday, December 24 | Deer Valley Resort

Christmas Eve is the perfect opportunity to spend time with and get your photo taken with Santa Claus! Santa will be at Snow Park Lodge, 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. and at Silver Lake Lodge from noon‑1:30 p.m.

Christmas Eve Torchlight Parade

Tuesday, December 24, 5:00 p.m. | Canyons Village

Spend Christmas Eve watching the torchlight parade at Canyons Village while you enjoy cookies, cocoa, and opportunity to take a photo with Santa.

Grand Menorah Lighting and Parade 

Wednesday, December 25, 5:30 p.m. | Miner’s Park on Main Street

Celebrate the first night of Hanukkah in downtown Park City with the lighting of the Grand Menorah. 

Menorah Parade

Saturday, December 28, 7:00 p.m. Main Street

The Menorah Parade begins at the top of Main Street and makes its way down the street and to Park Avenue before ending at Miner’s Hospital. 

Torchlight Parade at Deer Valley Resort

Monday, December 30, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. | Snow Park Deer Valley

A holiday tradition, enjoy complimentary hot chocolate, cider, and cookies at Snow Park before witnessing Deer Valley’s magical torchlight parade.
