The Calm Before the Storm at Ski Butlers
During Ski Butlers offseason we are constantly being asked, “what do you do all Summer?” Now that we have put summer behind us and are fully preparing for Winter, we no longer have to answer that question. So we welcome the next question, “what do you do in the Fall?” We have an answer and some photos to prove that during the Fall, we simply enjoy the calm before the storm.
At Ski Butlers Breckenridge, we have three beautiful resorts we service in the winter and enjoy spending time at the rest of the year. Breckenridge, Keystone and Copper are filled with summer/fall activities and if you have never visited during a time other than winter, you are missing out! By the way, it’s not too late to book a last minute trip to Colorado just in time to see the Aspen trees changing and the resorts slowly packing away all summer activities for the arrival of WINTER! We have compiled some tempting events at our local resorts for the next month just in case you were not already convinced you should come have some fun with us before winter:
Breckenridge: Start the month of with a distillery tour and tasting at Breckenridge distillery. This is an experience you will NEVER forget! The outdoor farmers market on Sunday’s is also fun and boasts over 40 hosts. We would not be preparing for the change in weather without Oktoberfest! Here you will find 3 days of fun, beer tastings and family activities on Main Street along with some fellow Ski Butlers volunteering their time for the event! If you enjoy antiquing, the Quandary Antiques Cabin has an open studio planned for Sept. 20th. To close out the month, we welcome the 3rd annual Celtic Festival to Breck! If you want to see other local events you can find a full listing from our friends at the Breck Resort Chamber here: http://www.gobreck.com/
Keystone: September starts with some music at Keystone Resort. Both the Music in Motion Concert and River Run Rocks concert series take place the first weekend of the month. For some golf, check out the Keystone Golf Invitational on September 16th. If you love biking, it is not too late to check out the almost world-famous Keystone Bike Park! For other events at Keystone visit their events calendar online at: http://www.keystoneresort.com/events/events-list.aspx
Copper: From go-cart racing, to mini-golf, to downhill mountain biking, to a beautiful golf course, and to a whole center plaza filled with family activities, Copper has it all. It always seems to be the great family escape at Copper and they sure have an amazing list of events for everyone in the family to check out.
