Valentine’s Day is the perfect excuse to plan a weekend getaway. What’s better than looking out at a beautiful view of snowy mountains from a hot tub? What about a couple’s massage after a day of skiing? Here are some of the best spots for a romantic adventure in the mountains.
Park City, Utah
Park City is just a half-hour drive from Salt Lake City and offers a charming atmosphere, plus amazing ski resorts. This historic mountain town was once a silver mining town in the 1800s. Step into history on Historic Main Street, which offers amazing food, live music, and over 200 unique businesses.

It’s right in the name – this spot really is Heavenly! South Lake Tahoe combines the best of both worlds with breathtaking views and booming nightlife. If you’re here for a party, stay at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. With a 25,000 square foot casino and live shows, you’ll have fun all night and maybe even run into your favorite musician.
Get away from the crowds with a stay at the Edgewood Tahoe Lodge. They offer a “Romance Package” that includes a 2‑night stay, champagne, chocolate-covered strawberries, and a couple’s massage at their spa. Instead of the casino, end your night by taking in the lakefront views at The Bistro or Edgewood Restaurant located in the lodge.
